An extra something)A kind and gental warrior who isn't afraid to pass a fist.But he does have a sadistic side which needs to be satisfied,motivated to feed it by protecting humans as he found their magnets for other monsters
Origin:Thousand of years ago,an ancient civilization prospered.The main city of said civilization was extreamly advaced,already having steam power,control over bronze and steel,and aquaducts,to name a few.The city was very knowledgable,keeping record of any advancements or breakthroughs in any field,weather warfare,science,mathamatics,art,ect.
One scientist and former soilder,who's name is lost in time,drew designs for a both a helper in construction and for war.The scientist built the machine but found one flaw:steam wasn't strong enough to run the behemoth.After many failed attemps for an energy source,the unnamed scientist was just about to give up.But as he looked to the stars and preyed to his gods,a true miracle happened.A streak of fire and orange light illuminated the brisk night sky,leaving a trail of flame.
The object crashed beyond in the hills,and with purmission from the leader of the city,the scientist went on an expedition along with fellow men of his field and guards.
The scientist and his collegues discovered exactly what was the meteor.Burning like the light of embers in a flame,surronded by burnt ground,was a crystal the size of a person,the same color of a bronze flame.
It took all of the group to houst the crystal onto a steam and horse powered cart.With their discovery safely in the city,the scientist expirimented with the gem,naming it a Sun Shard,and discovered that the crystal was an infinate energy source and could power a machine better then any steam engine.
With the crystal,the scientist found what he needed and thanked the gods for their gift.Placing the shard within his creation,the scientist was overwelmed with joy when his machine,no,his son,in some way,sprang to life and even asummed a personality.
The machine was presented to the royal court,and the ancient king,with great ecitment,allowed the machine to be a helper in building and expanding the city.
Unfourtuantly,nothing lasts forever,as over many,many years,the civilization vanished,sinking into the depths of the forgotten.
The mighty automotive went into hibernation,as he saw that his task as helper was complete.
Awakeing,the mighty machine Yazoga sufaced and was met with a new world.One where fotresses pierce the sky,one where small chariots are drawn by invisable steeds and no longer blow out steam.Humanity still holds over the surface but were now...different.
When Yazoga tried to investigate,the humans pointed and fled in terror.He did not understand.Humans liked him,loved him even.But soon he understood.Yazoga looked to himself and found a swarm of small creatures were pouring out of any crack or crevice on his nome rusted and faded body.
He saw that smaller monsters were attacking the humans,so the automaton acted.He smashed and squashed the insect like monsters,saving the humans from an untimely demise.
Soon after saving the humans,Yagoze was soon surronded by annoying black machines,one with spinning blades.
The behemoth was confused but ignored the buzzards.He marched back to the cave he delled in and resumed his hibernation.Even in his sleep,Yagoza was aware of the of the humans surronding him,putting up alien looking machines and tools,many of them examining him,writing stuff down.
Awaking again,the machine was disturbed by a monster,one of scaly size.In a heated battle,Yagoza dove the beast away,gaining cheers from the humans watching.
Since then,the holder of the Sun Shard,if ever needed by the humans,Yagoza will spring into action.
Now about the smaller monsters.Yagoza has a love hate relationship with the creatures the humans call Mechanix.The creatures,attracted to the SunShard,do to the best of their ability to keep Yagoza in check,like whit blood cells.But the little bastards crave human flesh but settle for cattle or any other meat.
Yagoza has a sadistic side to him,as he loves to give pain to any monster threatining humans.
This character is my own creation.

Love the G1 Transformers vibe this guy gives off! My favorite part is how you handled the flesh-eaters, though. Really interesting that you chose to make them more complex than just a problem to overcome. To people they'd be horrifying, but for Yagoza they're just a natural part of life and probably not even worth acknowledging most of the time. "Monster" is a very relative term after all, based mostly on perspective, and I think the white blood cell comparison you made is an apt one. This is a great way to utilize that prompt!
